Roswell, Georgia
Roswell is named after Roswell King, was an American businessman, planter, slave owner, and industrialist. The city began as a tiny mill town powered by water from Vickery Creek and the Chattahoochee rivers, which powered the Roswell Manufacturing Company. At the ancient mill, the remnants of several of the mills, as well as the dam erected to capture the power of Vickery Creek, may still be seen at the old mill park. It's one of Roswell's most photographed spots, and it's a popular spot for wedding and engagement photographs.
Roswell is a sought-after suburb on Atlanta's north side. It is located in North Fulton County, along the Georgia 400 corridor. Georgia 400 runs north and south, dividing Roswell into east and west halves, with West Roswell consisting of Downtown Roswell. Any of Atlanta's major job hubs are 30 to 45 minutes away from Roswell.
